Advancing Tauopathy Research with Partnerships
Today’s challenges in neurodegenerative disease research will not be solved by any one organization working alone.
Established by the Rainwater Charitable Foundation, the Tauopathy Discovery Alliance (TDA) brings together philanthropic funders, research institutions, industry partners and other aligned leaders aimed at supporting high-impact tauopathy research. The TDA provides a framework for identifying promising opportunities, coordinating investment, and sharing scientific and financial risk.
By investing together, TDA partners can pursue the most ambitious research, accelerate promising projects, and extend the impact of every philanthropic dollar.
The next breakthrough may depend on the partners willing to support it.
Programs & Initiatives
From early-stage discovery to translational research, TDA supports initiatives that bring together researchers, clinicians, and partners to accelerate progress in tauopathy research. Our programs are designed to foster collaboration, strengthen the research ecosystem, and move promising science toward meaningful impact.
Tauopathy Challenge Workshop
A collaborative workshop model that unites diverse scientific expertise around one pressing research question, accelerating new ideas from concept to funding.
